Publishers Communication Group announces organisational changes -

Publishers Communication Group (PCG), an international sales and marketing consultant for the publishing market and part of the Ingenta Group, has announced that Melissanne Scheld will step down as its Managing Director, effective December 31, 2017. Since 2014, Melissanne has continued to build PCG into the scholarly information industry's leading sales and marketing consultancy. Over the years she brought on many key clients including Harvard University Press, Guilford Press, Mary Ann Liebert, RedLink, and most recently Yewno.

Long-time PCG employee Donna Loews will take over the management of PCG as Interim Head of PCG. Donna has close to 15 years experience with PCG, working as a Senior Sales Representative for various clients and followed by overseeing all sales and operations for the BioOne account in 2013. Since 2016 Donna has been PCG's Senior Global Sales Director, managing all of PCG's sales division.

Donna has extensive experience in selling scholarly content around the world. She holds relationships with hundreds of librarians and well as with scores of consortia directors and has brokered millions of dollars in sales of PCG's clients.
