Publisher Reed Elsevier has announced that the appointment of Adrian Hennah as a member of the Supervisory Board of Reed Elsevier NV and as a non-executive director of Reed Elsevier PLC has been approved by shareholders at the respective Annual General Meetings held on April 19 and 20, 2011.
Hennah has also been appointed a non-executive director of Reed Elsevier Group plc, effective April 20, 2011. He is a director of Smith & Nephew plc, one of the leading medical devices companies. He was previously director of Invensys plc, the global technology group, until June 2006.
