Powered by Reprints Desk’s Article Galaxy research platform, the Gadget Store provides access to a first of its kind library of science applications, called Gadgets, designed for research and scientific experimentation.
Seventy percent of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies and small to medium sized businesses use Reprints Desk’s award-winning Article Galaxy platform for literature access and discovery. With the launch of the Gadget Store, Article Galaxy’s research engine is now available to individual researchers and scientists for the first time.
Users can search for Gadgets by keyword or browse popular Gadget categories, then add the selected Gadgets to a user-friendly dashboard. Just like consumer apps, Gadgets run on a desktop or mobile web browser.
Common Gadget categories include: search and discovery; on-demand literature access; workflow and productivity; lab and visualization; biomedical research; and journal table-of-contents feeds.
New Gadgets will be added to the platform on a regular basis. Across categories, Gadgets are aimed at accelerating scientific discovery, improving library workflows, and optimising lab productivity.
