Healthcare analytics and data solutions and services provider Truven Health Analytics has announced the appointment of Richard Holada as Chief Data and Technology Officer. In this newly created role, Holada will drive the alignment between the company's core analytic and data capabilities – which include the world's largest database of private sector health insurance claims – and solution development.
In his new position, Holada will be responsible for continuous improvement of the user experience, and will work with customers in planning new kinds of analytic tools to meet the far-reaching changes that are affecting every corner of healthcare.
Holada comes to Truven Health from The IBM Corporation, where he oversaw the company's predictive analytics and business intelligence offerings. Most recently, he was vice present of IBM's Watson Legal Solutions. In this role, he leveraged IBM Watson Cognitive Computing technology to build solutions for the legal profession; earlier he served as vice president, predictive analytics at IBM.
