The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has appointed Dr. Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi as Managing Director for India and South Asia, strengthening a long-term commitment to supporting the region’s rapidly growing and globally influential chemistry community.
Dr. Sarvasiddhi most recently served as Managing Director, India Research Business, at Springer Nature and as Chair of the Board of Springer Nature India. In the new role, he will guide the RSC’s work across India and South Asia, building on an established presence and partnerships with universities, research organizations, industry, and government.

India and South Asia are described as playing a vital role in that mission.
