RPS Publishing, the publishing arm of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, has announced an agreement with Community Pharmacy Scotland to provide MedicinesComplete to Scottish community pharmacists, both independents and multiples. There are currently 1,192 community pharmacies in Scotland.
MedicinesComplete is a comprehensive online service that brings together some of the world's leading drug and healthcare references on one integrated platform. Titles included under this agreement are: Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference, Stockley's Drug Interactions, Stockley's Interaction Alerts, The British National Formulary (BNF), The BNF for Children (BNFC), Herbal Medicines and Dietary Supplements.
Access by Community Pharmacy via an access controlled area on the Scotland's Health on the Web (SHOW) portal will enable all Community Pharmacists to benefit from the ability to search across key titles in a 'one stop shop' environment. MedicinesComplete is claimed to be the only platform that provides access to all of these titles in one place.
