RSC Publishing announces launch of polymer journal -

Scientific publisher RSC Publishing, UK, the publishing arm of the Royal Society of Chemistry, has announced the 2010 launch of a new peer-reviewed journal - Polymer Chemistry - encompassing all aspects of synthetic and biological macromolecules, and related emerging areas. Professor David Haddleton of the University of Warwick will serve as Editor-in-Chief of the journal.

The new journal will showcase ongoing efforts driving polymer chemistry, highlighting the creativity of the field and previously inaccessible applications. Monthly issues will contain a full mix of research articles including communications, reviews, and full papers. The journal will have a broad scope, covering areas of polymer chemistry of interest to materials scientists and bioscientists, as well as all traditional areas of the field.

From launch, the latest issue of Polymer Chemistry will be made freely available to all readers via the website. Free institutional access to all online content during 2010 and 2011 will be available following a simple registration process.
