Construction cost information provider RSMeans, US, part of Reed Construction Data, has announced the 70th anniversary of its first publication, the industry-acclaimed Building Construction Cost Data (BCCD).
Released in 1942 with just 1,000 cost line items, Building Construction Cost Data has become one of the most comprehensive sources for cost estimating information. The publication currently tracks over 23,000 cost line items and includes detailed cost data for commercial construction - both new construction and renovation work, as well as materials, equipment and labour costs for green construction and industry-specific mechanical, electrical and plumbing data.
BCCD provides up-to-date, regionally-customisable data that reflects costs in more than 930 locations within the US and Canada. The company now offers 20 specialised cost data titles, in a choice of book, online and CD formats.
