Construction cost information provider RSMeans, US, part of Reed Construction Data, has announced the release of two of the twenty annual RSMeans cost book series - Building Construction Cost Data 2011 and Assemblies Cost Data 2011.
RSMeans' cost data provides construction professionals with information and tools to quickly and accurately estimate the cost, size and duration of commercial and residential construction projects. Each RSMeans cost data title is updated to reflect the latest trends in construction materials, systems, labour, and equipment. According to the company, this data serves as a base for creating reliable cost estimates and provides a better understanding of the components required for the job.
Now in its 69th annual edition, RSMeans Building Construction Cost Data 2011 features more than 23,000 unit costs for building components, including new data addressing sustainable construction costs. It is newly organised by the latest CSI MasterFormat 2010 system with completely updated and expanded cost data for estimating, planning and budgeting in 2011.
RSMeans Assemblies Cost Data 2011 is organised by the UNIFORMAT II classification system for consistent estimating and reporting. The 26th annual edition has all of the building components required to develop accurate assembly level cost estimates, verify unit price estimates, and update reference information and cost-planning guidelines.
