Academic and professional publisher SAGE and iFactory, a media design and development firm, have released a free Beta version of SAGE Research Methods Online (SRMO).
SRMO provides advanced search and discovery tools to support researchers and students as they explore relevant content across the social and behavioral sciences, covering quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods. More than 100,000 pages of SAGE's leading book and reference material on research methods are available through SRMO. A visual 'methods map' enables exploration of the connections between more than 1,400 unique methods, theories, and terms; and the SRMO List function will enable users to store and share selected content.
The open beta version of SRMO will be available until the product's official launch in January 2011. During this period access will be free to anyone registering for a trial.
