Sage Business Cases marks 10 years of global, inclusive case publishing -

Sage is marking the 10th anniversary of Sage Business Cases (SBC), a milestone that reflects a decade of providing practice-ready teaching cases to libraries, faculty, and students worldwide.

Launched in 2016 in response to feedback from librarians and faculty, the collection was created to address demand for high-quality teaching cases made available through unlimited institutional access. Over the past 10 years, Sage Business Cases has grown into one of the world’s most diverse case collections, with more than 7,300 published cases developed in partnership with authors and institutions across multiple regions.

The collection is now used by more than 450 institutions and provides access to an estimated 9 million users globally.

According to Sage, the platform was built around input from librarians and business faculty and developed as a library-integrated collection featuring newly commissioned, double-blind peer-reviewed cases, global author representation from institutions of different sizes, and partnerships with leading business schools such as Yale School of Management, Kellogg School of Management, Tsinghua University, and Berkeley-Haas.

The collection has also maintained a steady stream of cases covering emerging topics including family business, cybersecurity, and social enterprise.

Over time, Sage Business Cases has expanded through additional initiatives and partnerships, including the launch of multimedia-enhanced Express Cases and a collaboration with NPR’s Planet Money.
