Academic publisher SAGE has announced that the SAGE eReference platform was recently honoured as a 2007 Choice Outstanding Academic Title.
Choice publishes an annual list of Outstanding Academic Titles that were reviewed during the previous year. This list reflects the best in scholarly titles reviewed by Choice and brings with it the recognition of the academic library community. Citing its quality content and the smooth interface, SAGE eReference was selected from among the 7,000 titles reviewed in Choice each year to receive this honour.
Created in partnership with RDW Group/iFactory, the SAGE eReference platform is the online host for 65 SAGE Reference encyclopedias. The platform provides users with many key features, including simple and advanced searching and browsing, multiple options for displaying and utilising results, and library-friendly user, browser and purchasing options.
In addition to the Choice award, another SAGE online platform, SAGE Journals Online, recently won the 2007 Professional and Scholarly Publishing Award for Excellence.
