SAGE launches Business Researcher, the first in a series of library business resources -

Academic publisher SAGE has announced the launch of SAGE Business Researcher which comprises biweekly in-depth reports, data, short articles, expert views, and resources for deeper investigation on the most pressing topics in business and management. SAGE Business Researcher is the first in a suite of resources that draws upon a thorough understanding of business curricula and research to support teaching and to guide students through all stages of undergraduate and graduate careers.

SAGE Business Researcher features in-depth reports written by experienced journalists on contemporary and controversial issues in current business research such as big data use, digital marketing, crowdfunding, and much more. Modelled after CQ Researcher, the resource publishes new reports every two weeks, more frequently than scholarly journals, in order to present the most current information for researchers.

The comprehensive reports consist of topic overviews, assessments of current situations, and guides to future trends. More features of SAGE Business Researcher include a user-friendly design with downloadable data all in one place, minimising the research time for students; objectivity so that students form their own inquiries as they read through a topic's literature; and a range of content types such as downloadable datasets, chronologies, expert views, pro/con debates, bibliographies and reading lists.

The reports introduce a topic's foundation, cover its latest developments and trends, and point to reliable resources for further inquiry to inform undergraduate students and assist in extensive graduate-level research.

The academic publisher is slated to launch other business and management resources in 2015-2016. Launching in the fall of 2015, SAGE Business Stats will put carefully vetted, hard-to-find, and otherwise unavailable data into the hands of students and researchers, enabling them to quickly find current and projected demographic and industry data series down to the ZIP code level. SAGE Business Cases, scheduled for launch in early 2016, will support faculty by showcasing complex issues and real-world situations that require strong business decision-making skills.

In 2016, SAGE will also be adding a collection of business and management videos to the SAGE Video platform, which launches later this month.
