Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has begun to publish the Transportation Research Record (TRR): Journal of the Transportation Research Board in partnership with the Transportation Research Board, a program unit of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
TRR presents the latest research findings in policy, planning, administration, economics and financing, operations, construction, design, maintenance, safety, and more, for all modes of transportation. It publishes nearly 70 issues annually.
Since the journal's founding in 1963 (originally titled the Highway Research Record), the TRR has published more than 25,000 papers and continues to build on its tradition of disseminating research findings to advance discussions around transportation, its associated development, challenges and opportunities.
The first SAGE published issue of TRR, which will include an updated cover design, will be on display at the 2018 TRB Annual Meeting from January 7-11, 2018 in Washington, DC.
