SAGE Publishing releases second edition of The SAGE Encyclopedia of Industrial and Organizational Psychology -

Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has released the second edition of The SAGE Encyclopedia of Industrial and Organizational Psychology with approximately 200 new entries on the psychological principles behind the ways people do tasks, behave, and interact with others at work. Released nearly 10 years after the well-received first edition, the new four-volume set provides an introduction to industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology for students, an overview into the specialized area for researchers, and updated information on the field for professionals.

Examining key themes and topics from the expanding field of I/O psychology, such as stress, flexible work schedules, the glass ceiling theory, and more, the second edition offers a cross-cultural and global perspective. Each entry is designed to provide the reader with a basic description of an I/O psychology topic and concludes with suggestions for further reading. Readers can navigate the encyclopedia by using its Readers Guide, which groups entries into 14 sections.

The text's editorial board includes editors of the field's top journals, prolific researchers, and other leaders in I/O psychology. A FREE online trial of SAGE Knowledge, including The SAGE Encyclopedia of Industrial and Organizational Psychology second edition, is available by emailing librarysales@sagepub.com.
