Academic publisher SAGE Publishing will begin publishing Innovations: Technology and Techniques in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, the official journal of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS).
Launched by ISMICS as part of a strategic effort to shape the global direction of cardiac surgery, Innovations was the first journal to disseminate information about technological advances leading to less invasive treatment of cardiothoracic and vascular disease. The journal seeks to offer a platform for Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeons, researchers, and other practitioners to access and contribute to the latest advances in the field of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
Published six times a year, the journal delivers research, reviews, manuscripts, case reports, and editorials from biomedical engineers and other experts, as well as newly presented research papers from annually held ISMICS meetings.
