Sage Reference publishes two-volume encyclopaedia on Stem Cell Research -

Academic publisher SAGE has announced the launch of Sage Reference's new two-volume Encyclopedia of Stem Cell Research. The encyclopaedia, co-edited by Prof. Clive Niels Svendsen and Prof. Allison D. Ebert, of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, explores major topics related to the emerging science of stem cell research and therapy, considering what is and is not known.

Written by experts, more than 300 A-to-Z articles provide a solid understanding of the basic concepts in stem cell biology, while addressing the politics, ethics, and challenges currently facing the field. A valuable Reader's Guide organises the colossal wealth of content into key themes, such as biology, clinical trials, countries, diseases, history, industry, institutions, legal, organizations, people, religion and states.

SAGE's new Encyclopedia of Stem Cell Research is seen to be an essential addition for all academic and public libraries. Reprints of major journal articles that delineate the milestones achieved in stem cell research round out this encyclopedia, which was designed to help readers at all levels probe the mysteries of this field. It is projected as a valuable resource for leading scholars in developmental biology and the field of regenerative medicine.
