Academic publisher SAGE has announced the launch of a new, interdisciplinary Open Access (OA) journal, Digital Health.
A fully peer-reviewed journal, Digital Health will present universally accessible and digestible content on the latest developments in the rapidly emerging field of digital health practices. A unique and dynamic forum, Digital Health will provide a vital space for the dissemination of, and engagement with, high quality papers for researchers, clinicians and allied health practitioners, patients, social scientists, as well as industry and government.
Focusing on healthcare in the digital age, and encompassing the interlinking advances in informatics and technology, genomics research and the social and political implications of these developments, Digital Health will publish a variety of article types and multimedia material including, but not limited to research articles, including controlled trials; research protocols and study designs; review articles; video articles; tutorials on new methods and best practice; opinion pieces; and essays.
Digital Health will accept submissions beginning in the summer of 2014.
