Sage has received four Awards of Excellence at the 2025 Annual Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX), recognizing a range of its educational and research-focused resources.
The awards acknowledge contributions across disability studies, data-driven business studies, critical thinking, and orthopedic medicine.
Among the winners, Sage Video: Disability Studies was recognized in the One-of-a-Kind Publications category for its interdisciplinary exploration of topics such as bioethics, chronic illness, rights and advocacy. Sage Business: Data Decisions received an award in the same category for supporting students in academic and professional readiness. The Critical Thinking Bootcamp 2024: Critical Thinking & Global Democracy was honored in the Current Events & Trending Topics category, and a special issue of the HSS Journal on shortened hospital stays for joint arthroplasty patients was awarded in the Magazines, Journals, and Tabloids – Print category.
The APEX Awards, now in their 37th year, recognize excellence in business communication across corporate, nonprofit, and independent sectors.
Sage’s recognition reflects its broader mission to support equitable academic development and promote social and behavioral sciences through innovative resources.
