Digital preservation specialist Portico has announced that Science Publications will be preserving its 30 e-journals with Portico, ensuring that their content will be secure and available into the future. Science Publications is located in New York City and Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.
Science Publications publishes peer-reviewed, open access academic journals. Their journals aim to provide researchers, writers, academic professors, and, students with up-to-date research in a broad range of areas, and to facilitate the global exchange and review of research, ideas and expertise among individuals in the scientific community.
In a related announcement, Portico announced that Bentham Science Publishers will also be preserving its e-journals with Portico. Bentham Science Publishers is a publishing company of scientific, technical, and medical literature based at Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The publisher publishes more than 130 subscription-based academic journals across fields of science, technology, and medicine.
