Content enhancement and knowledge services provider Scope e-Knowledge Center, a Quatrro Group Company, has announced the launch of its SCOOPE STM Mobile (beta) to access the company's daily news alert service, Knowledgespeak. For subscribers on the move, this latest innovation takes knowledge sharing to the next level, allowing easy accessibility through a reader-friendly mobile phone interface.
SCOOPE STM Mobile is uniquely available in two versions - a mobile browser version and a Java application version. The mobile browser version, www.myscoope.com, is designed specifically for the iPhone, the iPod, the iPad, and Android phones. The Java version, SCOOPE.JAR, is for all other Java enabled phones. While the Java version is fully functional, the browser version is currently in its beta stage. When complete, it will incorporate a 'subscriber management module' that will allow users to pick and choose specific categories of news and information, without having to navigate through several screens or options.
R.Sivadas, CEO of Scope e-Knowledge Center says, "As a knowledge management service specialist, this is a clear demonstration of Scope's mobile content delivery capabilities. While SCOOPE STM Mobile is designed for customisable STM news alerts for Knowledgespeak subscribers, the model behind this can be replicated for numerous other business and information applications such as communication of concise and abstracted content, quick reference material at point-of-use, tips and guidelines for travelling executives, etc".
Some of SCOOPE STM Mobile's other features include selecting desired news items, saving them in the local phone memory for later reading, search options, forwarding information via SMS or email, navigating to the URL links listed in the news item and many other user-friendly features.
