Scope nominated as a finalist at the INDIA 3.0 IT Innovation Awards 2013 -

Scope eKnowledge Center (Scope), a leading provider of content enhancement and knowledge services, was among the top 5 nominees at the prestigious IT Innovation Awards presented by Lenovo and powered by NASSCOM and CNBC-TV18. Scope was nominated under the 'Most Innovative Enterprise Project in Inclusive IT' category for its Business Process Management Solutions (BPMS) and other innovative business applications, especially platform-based service delivery.

The other nominees in the final list of 5 contenders included large, reputed Indian companies such as Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd; Larsen & Toubro Power; Surat District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd (SUMUL); and TATA Power Delhi Distribution Limited.

The IT Innovation Awards recognise enterprises for innovation, thought leadership and excellence in adoption of IT to achieve strategic goals and objectives. Scope's IT philosophy has been to standardise process, enable technology, platformise for multi-tenancy and enhance transaction velocity. In terms of IT in business processes, Scope has focused on generating real time metrics from workflow data for real time process management, digital dashboards with slice and dice reports and access to clients for project governance.

Commenting on Scope's entry among the final nominees, Tram Venkatraman, Scope's President, said, "It's a proud moment that we shared space with the giants in their respective industry. Earlier in January this year, Scope won the Most Innovative Program Award at the NASSCOM Corporate Awards for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion - 2012. Scope won the award for its unique implementation of a path-breaking initiative that signalled the empowerment and inclusion of India's educated rural populace. It also delivered on an ambitious diversity agenda that enabled a significant percentile of educated rural women to establish a career in the Indian BPO-KPO Industry.
