The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has announced that the tenth annual Information Industry Summit will be held January 25-26, 2011, in New York City. The conference is expected to bring together hundreds of industry executives to address key trends such as new business models, content delivery innovations and top mobile technology trends. Participants will also be the first to learn which digital content companies have achieved best-in-class status during 2010 as part of the prestigious CODiE Awards, according to SIIA.
The Information Industry Summit's featured speakers and panelists will explore a variety of topics - from mobile M&A opportunities and emerging mobile devices, to semantic technology and the social data revolution. Keynote speakers will include Clare Hart, President and Chief Executive Officer, Infogroup; Marty Kahn, Chief Executive Officer, ProQuest; and Jonathan Knee, Senior Managing Director, Evercore.
A special feature of the Summit will be the SIIA Previews - an introduction to emerging content and content technology businesses that are revolutionising the information marketplace. These companies will present their innovative technologies and strategies that have them on the path to success. Additionally, a special dinner on the evening of January 25th will serve as the venue for recognizing winners of the CODIE Awards in the categories relating to digital content products and services.
