Library automation solutions provider SirsiDynix has announced that in 2015 over 115 library systems chose SirsiDynix as their new ILS provider. In addition, the next-generation BLUEcloud Library Services Platform continues to enjoy strong adoption with more than 1700 SirsiDynix customers now using one or more BLUEcloud products. These annual numbers represent a double-digit increase over the previous year in both new SirsiDynix customers and those libraries who have implemented BLUEcloud products.
Company growth in 2015 was additionally reflected in product development, with 76 product releases, including new pilots for BLUEcloud Circulation, BLUEcloud eRM, and the much anticipated BLUEcloud Visibility. The BLUEcloud suite products are next-generation library software tools that provide complete administration, acquisition, and discovery to increase efficiency and reduce costs by leveraging modern cloud architecture.
More than 300 libraries are currently enjoying the benefits of BLUEcloud Cataloging, the cornerstone of the BLUEcloud suite, with another 270 library groups using BLUEcloud Analytics. 2015's increasing BLUEcloud adoption numbers reflect the customer excitement for this new initiative, and in 2016 even more libraries will enjoy the powerful benefits that BLUEcloud delivers.
