Library technology solutions provider SirsiDynix, US, has announced the availability of SirsiDynix Web Reporter release 1.5 for users of SirsiDynix Horizon 7.4.1. SirsiDynix Web Reporter is a reporting solution designed to work with Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL, and DB2 SQL databases. It is projected as an easy-to-use, web-based tool for library staff to run predefined reports, as well as create and customise reports.
Effective immediately, Horizon 7.4.1 users can access detailed release notes on Web Reporter 1.5 via the SirsiDynix Client Care Portal, plus upgrade to the new release by contacting SirsiDynix Client Care.
SirsiDynix Web Reporter users are expected to benefit from new dashboard reports, more than 180 modifications to metadata and the upgrade to MicroStrategy 8.1 functionality including interactive dashboard capability. With the latest release, users will be able to report immediately on data collected with new Horizon 7.4.1 functionality for transit materials and top circulation.
The upgrade to Web reporter 1.5 includes the option to have objects moved from the existing 1.4 project into the 1.5 release. This includes locally created reports, custom groups, filters and metrics.
