STM publisher SLACK Incorporated has announced an immediate call for papers in preparation for the April 2021 launch of the open-access, digital Journal of Refractive Surgery Case Reports (JRS Case Reports). Edited by Dr. J. Bradley Randleman, the quarterly, peer-reviewed Journal will include high-quality case reports that focus on research as related to the clinical practice of refractive surgery and lens-based procedures.
A companion title to the highly ranked Journal of Refractive Surgery, JRS Case Reports is the official open-access journal of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS), a partner of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. JRS Case Reports is dedicated to the exploration of individual patient cases describing complex diagnostic dilemmas and compelling surgical techniques. Detailed information for author submissions and article processing charges can be found at www.jrscasereports.com.
In an effort to recognize early-career researchers, the Journal will also publish case reports drawn from the International Society of Refractive Surgery’s Annual Externship Program. The top papers from the program will be published free of charge in the Journal.
