SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, has promoted 122 nominees to Senior Member status this year in recognition of their professional experience, active involvement with the optics community and SPIE, and significant performance that sets them apart from their peers.
The promotions were recently announced by the SPIE Board of Directors, following nominations by the Membership subcommittee chaired by Craig Olson (L-3 Communications).
Candidates must be existing SPIE members and meet extensive criteria including dedicated service to the SPIE community through participation in events, publications, committees, and volunteer work, professional experience, technical leadership, technical accomplishments, and professional contributions.
