STM publisher Springer has launched a new open access journal, the International Journal of Implant Dentistry. Sponsored by the German Association of Dental Implantology (DGI) and the Japanese Socieities of Oral Implantology (JSOI), and published by SpringerOpen, the journal is dedicated to the exchange and discussion of new research in the field of implant dentistry. It will also be available on Springer's platform SpringerLink.
International Journal of Implant Dentistry will publish high-quality peer-reviewed primary literature, as well as systematic or invited reviews, prospective and retrospective clinical studies, clinical case reports, basic laboratory and preclinical research, and articles on material research and engineering.
Yoshinobu Maeda of Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry, Japan, and Hendrik Terheyden of Red Cross Hospital in Kassel, Germany, will serve as the joint Editors-in-Chief. They lead an experienced editorial board dedicated to the high quality of the articles published in the journal.
