STM publisher Springer will publish Economia e Politica Industriale - Journal of Industrial and Business Economics as of January 2015. Founded in 1973, the journal is the official journal of the Associazione Amici di Economia e Politica Industriale, an Italian society which focuses on business and industrial economics.
In order to expand its focus to the international community, the journal will now be published exclusively in English. It was formerly published by Franco Angeli.
Economia e Politica Industriale - Journal of Industrial and Business Economics publishes research papers in economics and management that display a sound theoretical background and quantitative and qualitative methodology, as well as case studies and experimental and mixed method studies. Occasionally, the journal publishes symposia and surveys documenting the state of the art in special topics. Four issues per year will be available in print and electronic formats.
The journal is aimed at scholars, decision-makers and economists in private and public institutions. It encourages submissions dealing with the structure, evolution and institutional aspects of industries. Major topics include industrial organization and policy; innovation, entrepreneurship, and industrial dynamics; international economics and business; firm strategy and organization; infrastructures, networks, and regulation; and institutions and competition policy.
