STM publisher Springer has announced that it will publish the new official journal of the Italian Economic Association, the Italian Economic Journal. Articles have already been published online on SpringerLink. The first print issue will be compiled in March 2015. The journal has been formed through a merger between the association's former publication Rivista Italiana degli Economisti and the Giornale degli Economisti from the renowned Bocconi University.
The peer-reviewed journal will be published three times per year, providing a scholarly, international forum for methodological approaches and various schools of thought in all areas of economics and economic policy. Applied, institutional and theoretical papers in English, which deal in a rigorous and timely fashion with issues of relevance to the European and Italian economic debate, will be included.
The Editor-in-Chief and General Secretary of the Society, Roberto Cellini, from the University of Catania, Italy, is supported by a large international editorial board.
