The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) has announced that it is offering previously scheduled UKSG Pre-Conference Seminar, ‘Seeking Sustainability: Publishing Models for an Open Access Age,’ as a Virtual Event - happening April 2, from 10:00-12:00 pm ET.
For those who were disappointed for not attending Pre-Conference Seminar at UKSG, now it is possible to attend the event by registering before March 29, 2020. The program includes a keynote overview of current models, a panel exploring models-in-progress, and an interactive discussion focusing on key issues and possible next steps.
Sponsored by Cabells Scholarly Analytics and the Charleston Conference, this highly interactive virtual seminar explores Open Access models that are sustainable and adaptable. Those who participate can hear from publishers and librarians testing these new models and their long-term viability, as well as the concerns of small and society organisations fearing they may be left out of the discussion. More information can be found in bit.ly/ssp-virtual-event-2020.
Registration is open until March 29, 2020. Interested parties may visit bit.ly/ssp-virtual-event-2020 for more information.
