Academic publisher Oxford University Press has announced that submissions are now open for new Open Access journal Virus Evolution.
The field of virus evolution has never been more dynamic or more relevant. Recent epidemics of Ebola, MERS, avian influenza and other viruses have highlighted how important it is to understand the fundamental evolutionary processes that underlie viral behaviour.
Virus Evolution, a new Open Access journal from Oxford University Press, provides a much needed forum for in-depth discussion on this fast-developing field. The journal focuses on the long-term evolution of viruses, viruses as a model system for studying evolutionary processes, viral molecular epidemiology and environmental virology.
