Information services provider Swets, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Georges Sarazin as its new National Sales Manager for Canada. Georges joins Swets from Midwest Library Service, where he held the position of Regional Manager, responsible for managing territories in Canada and New England. He has also previously worked for Swets full time and as an outside consultant since 2001.
Georges, based in Ottawa, Ontario, is a 28-year veteran of the information technology services industry, beginning his career with the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI). He has held several management positions in client services, technical services, and electronic sales with various leading information companies and has participated in organisations such as the Canadian Library Association and American Library Association.
