Information services provider Swets, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Teri Hawksworth as Global Head of Sales. Teri brings more than 15 years of experience in the information industry, joining Swets directly from a Managing Director role at Sweet & Maxwell, Thomson Reuter's legal publishing business.
In addition to her previous role, Teri's career path has seen her hold a range of top-level sales, marketing and general management positions at companies including Wolters Kluwer UK, LexisNexis UK, Tritec.Ltd and ICC Group PLC.
Swets vision is 'to improve the delivery and use of knowledge'. From more than twenty offices around the world it actively serves customers (users of information) and publishers in over 160 countries. The company's active role in today's complex information marketplace has been regularly awarded by E-Content Magazine in their annual '100 Companies that Matter Most in the Digital Content Industry.'
