Journal subscription services provider Swets, Netherlands, has announced the successful release of SwetsWise 5.7, the latest technical update to its information management and procurement platform. Claimed to be the only platform within the information industry to offer selection and management services for both eBooks and journal content, SwetsWise has been emboldened with a range of additional usability features and new functionalities with this latest release.
Some of the main features included in the 5.7 release relate to SwetsWise Selection Support, Swets' powerful and intuitive collection evaluation tool. The other main feature of the 5.7 release sees the full implementation of UserVoice feedback functionality into SwetsWise. This handy feature enables all users, publishers and Swets internal staff to collaborate and openly discuss improvements and possibilities for the platform.
Customers can enter the feedback area from any page within SwetsWise and quickly enter suggestions or queries into a public forum. Other users can also comment or vote on existing suggestions. All of this feedback will be moderated and infused into Swets' future development cycle. The full roll out follows a rewarding two month pilot of the UserVoice software, which generated a keen level of interest and participation among users.
