Journal subscription services provider Swets, Netherlands, has announced a partnership with federated search services provider Deep Web Technologies, US, to further enhance the performance of its federated search module, SwetsWise Searcher.
SwetsWise Searcher is a hosted federated search service powered by Deep Web Technology. The service is designed to help librarians and their users meet the challenge of searching and finding relevant results from the ever-increasing catalogue of content available online. It seeks to simplify access to an organisation’s diverse and valuable resources, along with the open Web content users are accustomed to searching.
SwetsWise Searcher performs a rapid parallel search of all available sources or selected sources in real-time. A simple search box to cover all sources can be integrated into any web page, blog or intranet homepage.
