Taylor & Francis has announced the appointment of Sheetal Kamani as Managing Director of its Corporate Division, which provides content and services to industry leaders and R&D teams engaged in applied research and innovation.
In her new role, Kamani will oversee partnerships with organizations worldwide, focusing on licensing content and data for research and development, and developing applied solutions to support discovery and innovation.
Penny Ladkin‑Brand, Chief Executive Officer of Taylor & Francis, stated that the company welcomed Kamani at a time of global expansion in corporate services. She noted that Kamani’s experience in driving growth and impact would strengthen the division’s ability to meet evolving professional needs.
Kamani indicated that she was eager to lead the division during a period of transformation in research and innovation. She emphasized that the division’s mission is to ensure companies and R&D teams have access to trusted content to support discoveries and maintain competitiveness, highlighting the role of industry expertise and technology in delivering effective solutions.
Kamani brings over two decades of leadership experience in commercial strategy, product development, and general management across technology and information services. She joins Taylor & Francis from Wolters Kluwer, where she led teams focused on SaaS growth strategies and AI‑powered innovation. Her background also includes senior roles at Thomson Reuters, where she advanced commercial strategies and innovation initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in consulting and go‑to‑market implementation, developing expertise in aligning client needs with product capabilities.
Kamani holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Xavier’s College.
