Taylor & Francis has signed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Publishers Compact, a pledge which features 10 action points to accelerate progress towards the SDGs by 2030. It affirms Taylor & Francis’ ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and to champion the SDGs during the UN Decade of Action (2020-2030).
The announcement follows on the heels of the launch of Sustainable Development Goals Online platform that features an online library of over 12,000 articles and chapters – covering some of the world’s biggest ongoing challenges – as well as a selection of materials to help lecturers teach sustainability and enhance students’ satisfaction with their institutions.
For the third consecutive year, Taylor & Francis’s parent company Informa has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index which ranks the performance of the world’s leading companies based on economic, environmental and social criteria. It is among the top 1% of large businesses in its sector when ranked on sustainability performance.
