TechWeb and O'Reilly Media, Inc., co-producers of Web 2.0 Expo and Web 2.0 Summit, have announced that the events will be held from October 21-23 at the Berliner Congress Center in Berlin and December 3-4 at the Nikko Hotel in Tokyo.
These events seek to extend the Web 2.0 Expo portfolio worldwide to involve a global audience of developers, designers, marketers and business professionals building the next generation web. Strong demand from Web 2.0 events in San Francisco and interest from international audiences are seen to have prompted the launch of the Web 2.0 Expo brand worldwide.
Web 2.0 Expo is projected to bring together international delegates as it features innovative and successful industry figures and companies from around the world. The event explores business models, development paradigms and design strategies to enable mainstream businesses.
Call for submissions for both events will open in the next few weeks.
