TechWeb, a division of United Business Media, has announced that Terry Sweeney will rejoin the company as the Editor in Chief of Internet Evolution. Internet Evolution is a Web 2.0 site dedicated to investigating the future of the Internet. He will report to Joseph Braue, TechWeb Senior Vice President and Group Director of Light Reading.
In this newly-created position, Sweeney will be responsible for the management of Internet Evolution's broadband video documentaries and interviews; investigative reports, ThinkerNet blogosphere and user-generated content. With more than 20 years of experience in storage, networking, security and wireless, Sweeney has a long history with TechWeb. Earlier, he was editor-in-chief of Byte & Switch as well as the founding editor of the IT security website, Dark Reading and Storage Pipeline.
