EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has announced that California Institute of Technology (Caltech) has chosen EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) to provide its users with the highest quality results from articles, e-books, the library catalogue, institutional repositories, and other sources.
The implementation of EDS ties in with Caltech's mission as a pioneering research and education institution and the Caltech Library's mission as a user-centered organisation that provides advanced information services.
Caltech and EBSCO will also be conducting joint user research with Caltech's graduate student user community. EBSCO Discovery Service creates a unified, customized index of an institution's information resources, and an easy, yet powerful means of accessing all of that content from a single search box.
