Publishing solutions provider The Charlesworth Group recently hosted a range of meetings, events and seminars in London for a Chinese delegation. The opening presentation on Chinese Cultural Reform and STM Journal Development from Yan Shuai, President of China University Journals, was well received and led into some lively discussions on publishing practices with insights into the industry both in the UK and China.
The visit involved a series of meetings hosted by The Charlesworth Group with a variety of highly valued names in the publishing industry. Separate meetings were organised with Maney Publishing, the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Oxford University Press and Nature Publishing Group. The company also hosted a collective session involving a range of delegates from other publishing houses.
