NetLearning, a US-based provider of online courses and e-learning software for healthcare workers and hospital administrators, has announced an agreement with the Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA). Under the deal, the CHCA will offer its Essentials of Pediatric Critical Care Orientation (EPCCO) course to customers in the paediatric field via NetLearning's learning management system (LMS).
CHCA's EPCCO contains over 30 course topics, bundled by body systems into eight modules, each including case scenarios and practice activities, among other features. Each module focuses on the paediatric-specific knowledge and competencies necessary for clinicians to effectively and confidently care for critically ill children. Combined with application-focused learning activities, the EPCCO programme provides the adaptability desired by educators as well as the flexibility for learners to set their own pace while learning foundational content.
The NetLearning LMS claims to be one of the most advanced systems available in the healthcare industry. Built in .NET/Microsoft SQL Server architecture, it was designed and refined by healthcare professionals in the field to ensure maximum efficiency when managing, tracking and reporting on staff development, training and compliance. Unlike other systems, NetLearning's LMS platform offers integration with HR systems, sending information on grades and course completion dates to automate payroll, scheduling, merit raises and other performance initiatives as determined by the administrator.
