The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) will be hosting this year's English-language conference of the International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) at Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) from July 5-9, 2015. Those interested in attending the five-day conference 'Strategic Partnerships for Access and Discovery' on strategies, management and practice in libraries have until June 19, 2015 to register for the event.
The 36th Annual IATUL Conference will kick off with a word of welcome by Gabriele Heinen-Kljajić, Lower Saxony's Minister of Science and Culture. The prestigious conference on current and future developments in libraries will focus on strategic partnerships, Open Science, future challenges facing libraries, research data management and digital preservation. In addition to the extensive programme comprising presentations, discussions and workshops, IATUL also offers an accompanying company exhibition. More than 200 experts from the field of librarianship are expected to attend the conference.
In the run-up to IATUL, the General Assembly & Workshops of ICSTI, the International Council for Scientific and Technical Information, will take place at HCC on July 4, 2015.
