The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has announced the launch of its latest journal, IET Biometrics.
Joining the IET’s extensive portfolio of research journals, IET Biometrics explores developments in the growing field of biometric recognition and technology, enhancing the breadth of information available to the research community. Its broad scope will make it a valuable reference for both industry and academia. Professor Michael Fairhurst, an expert in biometrics at the University of Kent will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
The new journal seeks to bring together all the diverse strands of research in biometrics, providing a single focus for stakeholders in this area to share their knowledge and keep up to date with cutting edge developments. The first two issues of IET Biometrics will be available free of charge on the IET’s Digital Library.
