The London Book Fair (LBF) has announced a partnership with the International Publishers Association (IPA), which will see a one day education conference run alongside the Fair in 2013. The conference is scheduled for April 17, 2013 in the Earls Court Conference Centre.
The Conference will focus on the measures of educational outcomes, the effectiveness of learning resources and learning technologies, and the public policies that have proven to improve education.
Participants will include national education policy makers; content creators, including publishers, philanthropists, internet start ups and technology providers; as well as academics dealing with education, educational policies, learning, reading and related fields.
The event will be fully managed and operated by Reed Exhibitions in conjunction with the IPA, providing strategic programme and speaker guidance, with four sessions across the day. The sessions will include panel debates and case study presentations. IPA President, YS Chi, will introduce the conference, outlining the objectives for the day.
