Information services provider McGraw-Hill Companies, US, has announced the appointment of Brian Kibby as president of the Higher Education group. Kibby will succeed Ed Stanford who has led the group for more than a decade and successfully expanded the group's digital products and services.
Over the last three years, McGraw-Hill Higher Education has launched a range of innovative digital offerings, which have become a hallmark of the company, including McGraw-Hill Connect, an all-digital course management platform, and McGraw-Hill LearnSmart, the first adaptive learning tool from a publisher. In his new position, Kibby will be responsible for continuing McGraw-Hill Higher Education's development of market-leading digital tools, platforms and services.
Prior to this, Kibby served as senior vice president of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Pearson Education. At Pearson, he led a business that experienced consistent increased top-line and bottom-line growth, while overseeing the launch of the most successful series of products in the company's history.
