The National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry (ICECHIM) in Bucharest, Romania has announced a new partnership with Frontiers, a leading Open Access publisher. The agreement will allow eligible ICECHIM researchers to publish in Frontiers journals without any cost and with a simplified process.
This institutional partnership agreement between ICECHIM and Frontiers aims to encourage researchers to publish Open Access, which means their research will be accessible to a wider audience. The ICECHIM Steering Committee supports affiliated researchers in making their research more widely available, and this partnership with Frontiers will further promote open access publishing, increasing the volume of research openly available.
Under the agreement, articles may benefit from a partnership discount for Article Processing Charges (APC's), which will be covered by the agreement. This reduces costs for the researchers while benefiting the wider research community and the public.
ICECHIM researchers who wish to publish in Frontiers journals can select The National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry (ICECHIM) in the payment information section ("Frontiers institutional members") when submitting their article. Frontiers will verify their eligibility with the Institutional Account Manager at ICECHIM, and if confirmed, the APC will be paid upon acceptance.
Frontiers is known for its Open Access publishing model and has published over 200,000 articles to date. The partnership with ICECHIM will further their goal of making research more accessible to everyone. Researchers at ICECHIM can now benefit from this agreement and publish their research Open Access with ease.
