The SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology presents new and foundational concepts about the field -

Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced the publication of The SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology, providing students, scholars, and practitioners an introduction to the full scope of the field. The new 7-volume resource contains more than 1,400 signed articles that discuss essential approaches and theories, numerous mental health disorders, assessment tools and psychotherapeutic interventions, and the social, legal, and cultural foundations that have caused controversy in abnormal and clinical psychology.

The set is geared toward undergraduate students, graduate students pursuing a degree in clinical psychology or related fields, people who want to gain straightforward information about the field, and established scholars and practitioners who want to learn about topics outside their specific areas of expertise.

The encyclopedia has a Reader’s Guide with 25 topical categories, including anxiety disorders, historical context, psychological constructs, theories and theoretical frameworks, and treatment, therapeutic approaches, and relevant constructs.
