Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has announced that the University of California, Santa Barbara (UC Santa Barbara) has implemented the Ex Libris campusM™ mobile app. As the school’s comprehensive digital student platform, campusM increases the visibility of academic support resources offered to students and makes it easier to access these resources.
With the easy-to-use campusM app, UC Santa Barbara delivers a personalized experience that enables students to view class-related information, such as their schedule, assignments, and grades, as well as library resources, bus timetables, campus news, and more.
According to Shea Lovan, interim chief information officer at UC Santa Barbara, campusM will provide UCSB with a mobile platform that will help students find the resources they need for learning, a role that directly aligns with the university’s mission of teaching, research, and public service. With the campusM app and portal, the university seeks to open up new possibilities for online student engagement.
